Welcome to The Marlborough Club situated in the historic Oxfordshire town
of Didcot. The club has two refurbished function rooms which not only host
the clubs line up of regular live entertainment but also offer a fantastic venue
for your private party.
Club members also have use of the lounge bar, with a large screen TV with full sky sports package including sentanta. Upstairs in the Marlborough Club is a superb snooker room with two full size snooker tables. Members also have free access to wi-fi internet within the club and a full size bowls green at the rear of the building.
The Marlborough Club dates back to 1928 and was originally built by a local brewery with club members paying rent until purchasing the building in 1947 for £5000. The original club members consisted of Railway workers and personnel who had come from Woolwich Arsenal to work at the R.A.O.C depot at Didot.
The Club has moved with the times and gone from strength to strength and is now the home to 3 snooker teams, 3 darts teams, table tennis club and is the home of Didcot Rugby club.
Regular bingo sessions are held in the main function room together with Cabaret nights with top acts from the UK club circuit. Please see our What’s On guide for details of forthcoming events.
